Ok, ladies - I am DONE with this sittin on the couch, feeling sorry for myself, boo-hoo CRAP, and I am DETERMINED to get some stuff done this week! I am tired of being tired, and I am tired of feeling crappy. I feel worse now on all these stinkin prescription drugs than I did before, and I don't have the kind of concrete answers that I need yet, which (of course) makes me feel even worse! Since I can't change any of that situation, I will HAVE to change my attitude. So here goes!
**INSERT ATTITUDE CHANGE**
I am a list-maker, and I try to stay as close to my list as possible so I don't waste time. My energy is precious, and I need to save it to clean (only one house this week + keeping my own picked up as much as possible), teach lessons (Fridays and Sundays), and take care of my sweet darlin' monkeys. So, here goes!
To-Do LIST for Monday:
Drop the girls off at school at 7:30 and head to the gym for 30 min on the elliptical (and do some ab work).
Call the new doctor at 8:30 am to see if they have any cancellations (I have to call each day, bummer.....).
--The rest of the day will depend on if the doctor can see me, but I do have to get the kids from school because Doug has Chemistry class, and Mondays are typically heavy-homework days.--
GOALS THIS WEEK:
- Go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning for 30 minutes on the elliptical and some ab work.
- Start to get the garage organized - take the donations in/Freecycle (c) what we don't need so the girls can start using it as a playroom when it gets a little warmer.
- Make double batches of pancakes and waffles to freeze for the kids for when I have surgery.
- Get together a list of foods/dishes ppl can put together for meals for the kids when I have surgery, Gluten-free is hard, but not impossible.
- Make sugar cookies for the girls' classes to decorate for the 14th.
- HAIRCUT - Thursday! I'm thinking short and curly...
- CONTINUE to call the new Dr. every morning until someone gives in and gives me the answers I need.
I have one house clean Tuesday, and it's an easy one. Only takes me 2 hours to do, so no big deal.
My 5's
---I am thankful for my awesome FTC ladies and their well wishes and prayers. You women are AMAZING!
---I am thankful that I am on the backside of the Prednisone and Amoxicillin meds....one more week of each! I'm getting weary of the icky side effects - panic attacks, chest tightness, and sleeplessness....
---I am thankful for my understanding husband, who is looking forward to having his wife come back to bed tonight after a month of sleeping on the couch (I've been keeping him awake tossing and turning and crying and worrying, so I've been taking the couch, and that stops TONIGHT)
---I am thankful for my three girls and their enthusiasm to pick up their toys and put away their clean clothes today in order to help Mommy.
---I am SUPER THANKFUL for finding a recipe for an old favorite again -- a wonderful casserole with chicken, rice, and pepperjack cheese.....MMMMMMMMMMM, it was yummy!
Good night, ladies - let's get this game on!
WHOO HOO! So glad you're back on the move & we'll keep pushing you along as long as you'll have us! If there's ANYTHING at all we can do, just say [type] the words, sister!
